Comment by Mrs Beth Brown
06/11/2019A nonfiction book providing an overview of First Nation people groups in Canada. The book travels from East to West looking at the major areas and groups. Black-and-white drawings are included throughout the book. Each section begins with a traditional story from that area. Other information may include homes, travel, food, etc. At the end of each section there is an idea for a craft or activity related to the group studied.
Primary - easy to understand and possibly read by older primary students. With help, it could be used for research.
Intermediate - suitable for research.
