06/04/2019Primary - this book is written as an easy reader with photographs to accompany the text. The book is written as a nonfiction text explaining how the first Nations people took care of the environment. It talks about a few plants as well as the ocean and rivers. The book talks about community rules and how they work together to care for the environment and each other. The book interacts with the reader and asks the children questions to help them relate to the content.
