A story based on a Cree legend. A boy named sky continues to watch for Buffalo as his people are running out of food. The creator tells him in a dream where to go to find the Buffalo. Sky has the support of his grandma and the leaders of the tribe agreed to follow his dream. The focus of the story is the people's dependence on the land, and on their trust of the creator to guide them to food.

Primary – appropriate as a read aloud for young primary and possibly a reader for older primary.
